Started by a team of Polish founders in New York, Deep.BI creates advanced AI-based analytical solutions for digital media publishers. In May this year, the company raised a seed round of PLN 4.8 m (EUR 1,1 m) total  from Black Pearls VC (PLN 3m, EUR 700k) and a few Polish business angels (PLN 1,8 m, EUR 400k) involved with the media industry. Also recently, National Center for Research and Development supported Deep.BI with PLN 7 m (EUR 1,6 m). Deep.BI tools are already used by Gremi Media, SME, De Groene Amsterdammer and Human Rights Watch.
Energa will try out Quantum Lab's products for customer service development.

The idea of cooperation between Quantum Lab and Energa (Poland's third largest energy distribution system operator) is to use Quantum Welcome and Quantum Feedback for analysis of emotional reactions of Energa customers and increase the quality of customer service.

The EU's Horizon 2020 perspective ends in two years. The European Commission is already developing a new model for the functioning of the SME Instrument deigned for small and medium-sized enterprises with a radical innovation that can disrupt established value networks and markets. What has been changed? Project evaluation has been transferred from the Commission's officials' hands to European Innovation Council consisting of experts from private sector (entrerpreneurs, business angels, VC managers). 
Insly will help Polish insurance agents and brokers become more competitive

Black Pearls VC has invested PLN 2.94 million (EUR 700k) in Insly, a company that created an innovative software supporting insurance agents and brokers in effective management of sales and customer service activities. The transaction has an international character: our co-investors in the round of nearly PLN 9.2 million (EUR 2.2 million) are: Concentric Ventures and London Co-Investment Fund. Insly is already present in many European countries - including Britain, Lithuania and Latvia and has been founded in Estonia.

VoiceLab.AI will provide Polish courts with automatic speech transcription systems.

VoiceLab.AI, together with Comarch S.A., will set up a system for automatic speech transcription and management of the transcription process for  Polish common courts. The contract value is PLN 11 mln (EUR 2,6 mln).
