Alexander Lubański withdraws from his managing partner position at BPVC.

After 7 years of working as one of the firm's two Managing Partners and co-Founders, Alexander Lubański withdraws from the company.

Over the past years, Alex has been building Black Pearls VC position, focusing especially on Life Science projects, business development and investor relations, supporting portfolio companies and disinvestments, with special attention to Black Pearls VC Fund I investments.

I feel proud of what we have accomplished. Building one of the most professional and recognizable Venture Capital fund managers in Poland was an extremely exciting challenge and I am very happy with all our achievements and our magnificent team which will be continuing this mission.

Together with Alex, we have transformed a consulting company - Black Pearls Advisory - into Black Pearls VC, a company that professionally manages Venture Capital funds under international standards. We have been learning, developing ourselves and shaping the Polish VC industry together. Today our relationship is reaching the next level with mutual understanding that work-life balance is important in life. From now on, more as friends than business partners, we will continue to support each other.

The decision was made a few months ago, giving the company enough time to implement proper adjustments. Alexander will still be acting as company representative in businesses related to some of the portfolio companies. The whole Black Pearls VC team is wishing him good luck with his future endeavours.
