Two of our portfolio companies have recently been awarded in important regional competitions. Parkanizer and Piktorex – both startups growing within our LQT Fund in cooperation with Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju (the National Centre of Research and Development) have been recognized in their regions for their accomplishments.
Parkanizer with "Silesian Icon 2016"
The team took prestigious “Silesian Icon 2016” award for the best designed service with their smart parking system. The jury emphasized that the service offered by Parkanizer is intuitive and easy to use. As stated in the jury justification: Parkanizer is an example of a well-designed, comprehensive service and a business model with a great potential for development.
Pikotrex in Golden 100
The company led by Piotr Merks was awarded with special “Business Hope” award in Golden 100 – a leading business prize for Kuyavia-Pomerania region. The product – pictograms solving the problem of incorrect dosing of medications (Lekolepki) were met with great enthusiasm of the contest’s Jury Board.
Parkanizer, as well as Piktorex, are Black Pearls VC portfolio companies developing their R&D projects with the support of BRIdge Alfa – programme of the National Centre of Research and Development.
