Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas and Autenti work together on electronic signature.

BGŻ BNP Paribas and Autenti, have implemented an electronic signature to streamline the bank's credit processes. The Black Pearls VC portfolio company announced its cooperation on digital contract signing with Siemens Finance earlier this month.

New technologies are changing the way we do banking : clients expect banking processes to be friction-less, quick and efficient. Signing paper contracts, printing them, scanning, sending by post or courier takes too long, and clients do not want to spend time on paper formalities anymore. So we have partnered with a FinTech to fulfill these important customers’ expectations by upgrading and digitalizing end-to-end credit application process. We are leveraging modern technological solutions, such as electronic signature, for the benefits of our customers and our partners. And there is more to come.

Autenti, which had won in 2016, while still a start-up, the first Polish edition of the BNP Paribas International Hackathon, proposed software that makes concluding banking contracts easier with the use of an electronic signature. With Autenti’s solution implemented, signing credit agreements at Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas will be possible online, on any electronic device with internet access.

We are gladly getting involved in projects in which we can optimise processes and make them innovative by using the latest technologies and adapting them to legal regulations. Since the beginning of our work together, Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas proved itself to be an institution that is exceptionally open to new technologies. As a result, we designed and implemented a first-of-its-kind solution on the Polish market. With this solution, credit processes will be handled entirely online, which will generate substantial time and money savings, not to mention the parties comfort and satisfaction

Autenti provides the bank with full service for e-transaction processes. The platform records a chain of events between the contract parties and places evidence in permanent storage. Security and trust, which are exceptionally important in banking processes, are ensured by data encryption and the use of additional digital customer verification methods. Autenti was founded out of the need to turn businesses paper-free and digital wherever they have no need for using traditional, hand-written signatures and printing documents. The platform serves as a trusted third party, guaranteeing the authenticity of signed documents and maintaining a list of approved evidence of actions taken in the
process of signing such documents.

Autenti is one of the Black Pearls VC portfolio companies. As much as PLN 3M (EUR 700k) of funding was provided for the company from Black Pearls VC II Fund in November 2017.
